We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive (AE) responsible for growing accounts and revenue in the western region of US. Products include, but are not limited to, private line, wavelengths, GigE, dedicated internet access, and optical transport services.
Position Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years recent telecommunications sales experience (Data, IP, Long Distance, Internet, Frame Relay, etc). Must be a strong team player with a commitment to value-based leadership. Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire new business. Adept at prospecting, funnel management and closing business. Expertise in the areas of Data and/or IP are required. Demonstrated success as a top sales performer, consistently exceeding quota. Strong Data and Managed Services competencies including private line, frame relay, ATM, internet, VPN and hosting. Strong account management and client interface skills. Strong presentation skills and sales opportunity analysis. Strong proposal development. Strong closing skills.

Description:
360networks is looking for a results-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail.
Duties will include:
Collections – Daily Management of customer accounts & aging reports. Build cooperative, supporting, service-based relationships with customers in the maintenance of their accounts.
Credit Approvals – Make determinations of customer’s credit risk. Review credit class and credit limits and make recommendations for changes or amendments. Publish weekly credit watch list to sales. Work with credit check agencies.
Cash Management – Process payments daily from Lockbox, direct wires and other payments received. Maintain balance and accurate A/R sub-ledger. Daily cash reconciliation with billing and accounting.
Reporting – Weekly/Month end reporting of results.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate superior interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities. Strong negotiating skill and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and a minimum of 2 years experience in cash management, collections or general accounting functions. Telecom experience would be an asset. |
