ASML is seeking an Applications / Demo engineer for the San Jose region. The engineer will be responsible to support the 300mm lithography applications at a major customers Technology Development Center. The work will be a combination of JDP`s, customer demonstrations, collecting and analyzing performance data, execution of specific projects, and support for customers lithography requirements. The engineer will interface closely with the customer. The engineer will be part of ASML`s WW Demo Operations and work closely with local San Jose CS and Apps Support.
The engineer will have previous lithography process and tooling experience in a production or R&D fab. Must be competent in Twinscan and current low k1 lithography processes or have the ability to learn them extremely fast. Must be a self motivated individual who works well alone, in groups, and with customers. Must have outstanding communication capabilities and respond positively to varied forms of input. |

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be part of a team of developers responsible for developing the core functionality of ASML MaskTools industry leading process optimization application.
Experience with:
- C++, object oriented programming.
- XML, XML database (desirable).
- Unix/Linux and preferably Windows development environments.
The candidate should have at least 3-4 years of commercial product experience with object-oriented C++ software in a multi-platform environment (UNIX/HP-UX/MS Windows) and hold a BS/MS in EE/CS or an equivalent field. XML / XML-database experience is a strong plus.
The candidate should be team-oriented with excellent communication (written and oral) skills. |
