Field Based, The Successful candidate will have the ability to manage staff engaged on single sites or projects on a day-to-day basis providing a focal point for both project management and customer queries related to field activities. Duties will include:
Ensuring field based staff carry out assigned tasks and responsibilities in a competent and a professional manner.
Ensuring staff operates to required Quality Standards of workmanship, with specific reference to ensuring compliance to customer and Greenwoods processes and procedures.
Ensuring all tools and test equipment assigned to designated engineers requiring calibration/PAT testing are returned to the Tools and Test Equipment department as required.
Ensuring company provided vehicles driven by designated engineers are maintained in accordance with manufacturer `s recommendations and to ensure periodic vehicle checks are carried out.
Providing an effective communication channel between field based staff and Greenwoods Project Management personnel.
Liaising with all departments to ensure staff have required skills and resource to complete work schedules to meet project timescales.
Responsible for mentoring, objective setting, performance monitoring, continuous appraisal and career development for assigned personnel.
Managing and Verifying field staff claims for travel/living expenses and time keeping and recording.
Validating the completion of project site documentation to facilitate acceptance by customers.
Ensuring quality inspections are carried out and documented in line with Project Quality Plan.
Responsible for the management of on site Health and Safety issues. |
