This vacancy has materialized as Mangrove significantly expands its customer base. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Product Marketing organization and will assist in steering the company's product direction.
This is a challenging and wide reaching role that embraces many facets of technology, business and marketing. Your prime responsibility will be as an expert on the Product Management team working with the various development and sales teams to influence and co-ordinate the product requirements and cost metrics. You will continually conduct comprehensive analysis of customer requirements, competitors' products, standards bodies/forums, macro and geographical market conditions and be called upon to translate Mangrove technology in response to RFP/RFI documents.
Technical - A demonstrably strong background in switching and routing, with specific expertise in IP and MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, LDP, RSVP-TE, L2 applications such as ATM, Frame Relay and Ethernet. You must have strong network configuration skills.
Communication - An excellent communicator, both written and oral, with an enthusiastic presentation style and an ability to communicate at all levels. You will often be called upon to present at key stages in strategic account engagements, sales conferences and seminars.
Market - An ability to understand the markets, recognize and act upon market inflections that ultimately drive Mangrove towards greater competitive differentiation and revenue exposure.
Interpersonal - The individual needs to be a dynamic self-starter and have a winning attitude. You should be able to demonstrate credibility, enthusiasm and vision to the customers and the market. At the same time you will be structured, pragmatic and process-driven in order to provide the correct requirements to engineering.
Require minimum 7 years direct experience within a networking equipment
environment
BS EE or CS or equivalent knowledge
MBA preferred
