Spherion Workforce Architects, a B staffing, recruiting, outsourcing, outplacement and IT Solutions company has a wireless/cellular telecom client in northern Colorado that desires a Controller.
The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Finance and Accounting and will supervise General Ledger Manager & Payroll & Benefits.
Job Responsibility:
** Manage all accounting activities including G/L, Account Reconciliation, Financial Statement Preparation, Fixed Assets, payroll, A/R, A/P including tax, yearly and monthly closings, Cash Management, Audit Co-ordination, and Federal and State Telecommunications regulatory filings.
Other Responsibilities:
** Manage multiple non-integrated financial modules.
** Review, recommend, and oversee conversion to new financial systems as necessary.
** Create and maintain an Accounting Policies and Procedures manual.
** Organize accounting functions into a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual work schedule of activities.
This is a benefitted, direct employee position for a well-funded, wireless/cellular company in northern CO (within 80 miles of Denver). Pay is up to k/yr commensurate with experience.

Spherion Workforce Architects, a B+ staffing, recruiting, outsourcing, outplacement, and IT Solutions company has a wireless telecom client in Grand Island Nebraska that desires a GSM Switch Manager.
This position reports to the Vice President of Technical Operations and supervises (currently) 2 GSM Switch Technicians. Main responsibility is to manage all of the functions necessary for the operation, maintenance and installation of a Nokia GSM switch.
Other responsibilities entail: ensuring all translations for the construction of new cell sites are built; ensuring all translations necessary for the normal operation of existing cell sites, trunks and signaling links are built and operating; performing software and hardware upgrades; monitoring switch performance and growth statistics on a daily basis; training and mentoring switch technicians; developing process improvements, prioritizing goals and providing inspiration and motivation; and promoting teamwork.
The successful candidate will preferrably have a Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications. The successful candidate must have: 3 - 5 years hands on operating experience in a wireless switch environment; Nokia switch experience; 2+ years supervisory experience; and ability to troubleshoot and repair DS-3, DS-1 and SS-7 circuits.
This is a full-time, benefitted, direct employee position and will be located in Grand Island Nebraska. Pay is up to k/yr commensurate with experience.
