Description:
Our R&D Department in Yokne’am seeks:
Lead Hardware engineering position for designing and implementing devices for VoIP services and data networking product.
Responsibilities will include architecture, system definition, system/board level design, development, test and documentation.
Must have work on projects from conception to final release for manufacturing,
will interface with Software, Marketing and Manufacturing teams to develop successful products.
Working as a project lead on various aspects of a project and mentoring less experienced engineers.
Requirements:
Must have experience in all phases of networking product development for products that have been deployed in real customer networks.
Must have strong board design skills using schematic capture (OrCAD is a beneficial), HDL design and simulation tools.
Need to have a strong understanding of processor based designs, memory technologies and high speed transmission line design principles.
Prefer a strong background in multiple LAN/WAN media interfaces.
Experience in Gigabit Ethernet, switching and routing and Network processors is desired.
Knowledge of SONET and ATM physical layer is a beneficial. Experience with thermal and EMI issues is a plus.
Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Taking projects from concept to deployment.
The candidate must have good problem solving skills and a successful track record of completing projects on schedule.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Qualifications:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
At least 8 years of direct experience in data communications and networking technologies |
