Key Responsibilities:
Configuration Managements plays a critical role and influential role within an IS organization.
As a Manager, Information Systems and a key member of the Configuration Management (CM), you will provide technical expertise and leadership to a talented team. Qualifications
Required Knowledge:
CM principles and practices

Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
Billing Applications (such as Amdocs) would be an asset

Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Specialist for Consumer Solutions, you will be responsible for meeting the training needs of the external sales channels. These channels currently include Retail Partners (ie Future Shop, London Drugs), TELUS Mobility Dealers, Multi Dwelling Units, Door to Door, Dell, and other like partners. You will prioritize initiatives, manage training projects, conduct needs analysis, post implementation return on investment, develop customized training documentation or utilize existing course material to deliver training sessions or make available online. You will be planning and delivering high energy and engaging training at partner events to audiences of up to 300. You will meet with stakeholders and external partners to determine training requirements and provide subject matter expertise as required. Focus will be given to designing/utilizing innovative and cost effective training tools and delivery mechanisms.
The Challenge - Key Objectives/Deliverables in 1st 12 Months:
Contribute to Consumer Solutions 2005 objectives by creating and implementing training plans that support the sales channels strategic priorities.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge:
Successful completion of Grade 12 with some post-secondary education or related career experience
Degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Adult Education, or equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge and proven application of instructional design principles including new developments in this field (e.Learning an asset)
Knowledge and proven application of strong and engaging facilitation techniques
Required Skills&Abilities:
Successful sales record an asset
Applies adult learning principles and instructional design when developing training content
Strong and engaging facilitation and presentation skills using a wide array of tools and instructional techniques to diverse audiences ranging in size of up to 300
Strong technical skills to lead training related to Data/IP initiatives
Strong leadership skills to build/manage strong client relationships, work collaboratively in a team environment, anticipate and assess potential learning implications, make recommendations, and effectively lead and deliver on training projects
